Patrick + Amy May 12, 2012

These photos are from a wedding us over at Whalen Creative Group did for  the beautiful couple with the sweetest smiles and warmest hearts!
Patrick + Amy

*All photos by Jenna Stoller at Patch 36 Photography

Adorable forks that the couple picked up and had at their place settings at the reception.

The beautiful couple, inside and out!

Amy getting ready to head outside and see her husband-to-be!

Here is Patrick walking Amy's mom, Linda down to her seat for the ceremony. These two are so blessed with two wonderful families that will love and support them throughout their marriage.
Patrick waiting for his bride! Patrick is a member of the Secret Service
and is wearing is Secret Service pin for the wedding.
He even gave each one of this groomsmen and Fathers a pin as a gift.
This is just one of those "It" photos and I am so glad Jenna got this picture! It is a beautiful moment during the ceremony where both families came together to pray for Patrick and Amy as they begin their marriage. Isn't that what its all about anyway? :) Favorite photo, hands down!
At Whalen Creative Group we really try to think of everything for you.
We purchased a garden stone for each of the bridesmaids
and a larger garden stone for the bride to stand on.
It made standing in grass in heels much more tolerable.

This is just a beautiful shot of the ceremony on Tippecanoe Lake

Mr. + Mrs.
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a wonderful cocktail time down by the water with drinks and appetizers.
Here is the wedding party loving their new married friends!
The happy couple making it official!
As you can see cocktail hour was a success! Here is the ring bearer and flower girl being oh so cute!
To let everyone know that cocktail hour was over and it was time to make our way up to the country club for dinner, guests did a "sprinkle send off" for Patrick and Amy. The next photo will explain. :)
You guessed it! Instead of rose petals, the bride chose sprinkles. We filled 200 mini glassine bags with these colorful candy sprinkles. It was amazing to see in person!
When entering the clubhouse, guests could then "sign the guestbook". The bride chose to do a polaroid photo booth and it was not only a hit, it made an ADORABLE guestbook for them to keep forever!
Patrick and Amy taking a turn.
The finished product!
Guests also enjoyed their wedding favor that was four wonderful flavors of Garrett Popcorn from Chicago!
Seating arrangements were easily found by guests by this beautiful seating chart that we had printed and framed for the bride and groom.

Inside the reception the table decorations stole the show! All decor was by Lisa with Iris Trails.
We also had these beautiful menus printed up and place at each place setting inside the napkin.
The exceptional cake by Peggy Roulo with The Cake Lady
Custom moss monograms for Sullivan, the grooms last name, for the front entrance of the clubhouse.
Here are just some more amazing photos from the day.
An obviously head over heels bride!
Beautiful bouquets by Lisa with Iris Trails. Contact me if you would like to get ahold of her!
This is a cute photo of the groom patting down his groomsmen, another fellow secret service agent.
The happy couple!

Vendor Spotlight: Double K Photography

Double K Photography is a local husband and wife photography team. They can provide beautiful photographs that you and your fiancé will cherish for the rest of your lives. One thing that sets them apart from other local photographers is that they can also shoot in film. Which is unfortunately becoming a lost art all together.

This vendor spotlight post I am doing on Double K Photography gives you a small taste of their work. These photos are from a recent engagement session that they did in film.

As Naomi said to me, " Engagement sessions are such a great way to connect with your photographer prior to the stress of the wedding day, and it is an elegant way to announce to your friends and family that it is official!"

Be inspired by what you see below!
