Ron + Karla September 1, 2012

Ron and Karla, I don't even know where to begin! True love, kind hearts, gentle spirits? These are two of the most amazing people, if you ever have the chance to get to know them.
And on top of all of that, when it came to their wedding....
They know how to THROW a party!!!!

They were together eight years, all while Karla was wondering when Ron would propose. His answer, being the funny guy he is, to anyone who asked was, "When I win the lottery, I will propose."
Well, he did just that! Last December, he won the lottery!
Ron stuck to his guns as a man of his word and proposed to the woman he loved!!!

At Whalen Creative Group, our job was to take Ron's, Florida Gators themed wedding and marry it with Karla's, elegant, sophisticated wedding.
Let me tell you, it was fun doing so!

Go ahead and get lost in these beautiful photos from Marah Grant, you will feel like to had the pleasure of attending their wedding!

Please Enjoy and be inspired!

Whalen Creative Group had the pleasure of doing the coordination
as well as the floral and event design!
The breathtakingly beautiful photo of Ron and Karla! I hope this is hanging
on their wall somewhere!
Karla wanted the girls flowers to POP off their blue dresses and that Gator orange
did just that! It was stunning all together.

The beautiful bridesmaids standing by Karla's side!
The guys!!!

Ron and Karla were blessed with some talented musicians in the family.
Here is Syesha Mercado from season 7 American Idol!

We transformed the front of the church by setting up three different sets of pipe and draping.
The final product was stunning!!!

Stonehenge Country Club was the perfect backdrop for this reception

Doesn't it look like everyone is having a good time?

Ron and Karla loving on their guests! They greeted each and every table together!

Ron and Karla had a lot of family from Florida that they wanted to
be present for their wedding. They generously bused each of them up
to Indiana to be a part of their big day!

The toasts were beautiful, tears from the Maid of honors speech and
extreme laughter from the Best man's speech.

The cake was just as fun-loving as they are.
Beautifully done by Betty's Cake Shop in Warsaw.

The sweet couple taking in their first dance

Syesha was asked to do an encore performance at the reception! It was beautiful!

The dancing started, and never stopped!

And the party goes on!!!

A huge congratulations to such a sweet, deserving couple!
All my love to Ron and Karla!

Derek + Amanda: From WCG's experience thru Instagram

Amanda and Derek - August 25, 2012

The front doors at Tippecanoe Country Club. The ceremony
was on the front lawn and the reception was inside.

Derek waiting with the pastor and Mandy's daughter, Ella
to walk into the ceremony. It was such a sweet moment to
watch Ella walk in with her new Daddy!
A beautiful setting for an outdoor ceremony!

Mandy and her Dad

A gift from Derek's parents!

The lobby at Tippecanoe Country Club.

The photo booth was a hit! Each guest could print a copy
and Mandy and Derek automatically received a copy on
their computer!

Me, testing out the photo booth that we put together. :)

My assistant, Skye! She is not only amazing, she is hilarious!

The beautiful table decorations!  Perfect for a Preppy / Summer wedding!

Mandy wanted paddle balloons, so here I am gathering some up
to take over to the gift table and dessert table.

For favors, Mandy wanted a dessert buffet. They had an
amazing array of sweets. Pies, cookies, woopie pies,
cupcakes, and cheesecakes.
Each guest could take a bag and fill it up with sweets.

Everything had a cute presentation!

This was such a sweet and tender wedding. An intimate ceremony and then a fun-filled reception with music and dancing!

Here is to a beautiful couple and such a sweet new family!

Keep your eye open for the professional photos from Amanda and Derek's wedding coming soon!
